Stripping Paint

Well do you guys have any idea how to strip paint from plastic? I tried fingernail polish remover, and it sort of worked on metal but it turned the plastic into mush. What would remove the paint without damaging the plastic?

2 things:

1. Simple Green - This is an eco friendly cleaner and degreaser that can be found in varying quantities near automotive sections of stores like walmart, kmart, and grocery stores

2. Purple Power - This is a less eco friendly cleaner that I believe is exclusively found at walmart in their automotive section.

just fill up a large bowl (i use a bowl or bucket with a lid as this stuff will evaporate) with your liquid and put your minis in it, soak overnight and then take a tooth brush to the paint, usually with metal one soak and scrub will cure your ails, but with plastic it may take multiple soaks. I've been using simple green for years and have yet to damage a model.
